Matthew Allan Carr, 17, of Belton, MO passed away November 27, 2012.
Matt was born April 17, 1995 in K.C. MO. He was going to night school and worked at the Family Cabin. Matt attained the rank of Firebuilder in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say honorary scouting organization and earned merit badges towards the Eagle Scout Award. He liked to travel on family trips. He went to Cruise Night in Belton and liked skate boarding.
Matt is survived by his Mom and Dad, Debbie and Steve and brother, Josh of the home; half brother, Brenton Short, Pittsburg, KS; Grandma, Verna Lee Wilson; Grandpa, Richard Carr; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Preceded in death by Paternal Grandmother, Kathryn Carr; Paternal Great Grandparents, Myra and Raymond Carr, and Cleo Chapman; Maternal Grandpa, Wayne Wilson; Maternal Great Grandparents, Geneva and Paul Covey, Elizabeth and Henry Wilson.
Visitation 12:30-2 pm, the funeral service following at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 1 at the Belton Christian Church, 409 Airway Lane in Belton. Burial in the Belton Cemetery.
