Richard Middleton

Richard was born in Topeka, Ks, March 14, 1940 to Clarence and Virginia Middleton. The family soon after moved to Kansas City, KS where his father worked in construction and his mother was a nurse.

Richard graduated from Argentine High School and soon afterwards entered the Airforce during the Vietnam War. After military service, Richard resided in Arkansas and received an Engineering degree from the University of AR. He worked with the Bendix Corp and Bell Labs. He was Vietnam veteran, a Mason and Shriner. Richard was happiest traveling and camping in his beloved RV and playing Santa. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone! Richard is survived by his wife, of their home in Belton, MO; 3 children, Stuart Middleton of Kansas City, Michael Middleton of Belton, MO, and Shea Thomas of Little Rock ,AR; 4 Step-children, Michael Mack of Belton, Michelle Green of Virginia, Shalon Gonzalez of Belton, Bevin Bryan of Liberty, MO; one sister, Phyllis Brassfield of Rich Hill, MO, one brother, Kirk Middleton of Kansas City; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents of Shawnee, Kansas; his brother Jay Middleton of Kansas City.
