

Sarah W. "Sally" Job, 70, of Raymore, MO, died Nov. 1, 2012, at Raymore Rehab Center. Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Belton Christian Church, 409 Airway Lane in Belton. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Mon., Nov. 5, at the church. For more information, please contact the Athletics Dept. at 816-235-1039. Sally was born May 9, 1942, in Emporia, KS. She married James T. (Jim) Job on March 7, 1970. Jim survives at the home. Other survivors include her children, Kendall Cassidy, Natalie Wilkerson-Smith and Jeffrey Job; five grandchildren, Brendan, Dylan, Emily, Raffi and Levi; sister, Julie Wagatsuma. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marian Wilkerson, and granddaughter, Devin Cassidy. She worked as a legal secretary for Judge Jack Gant, an account manager for Kaiser Aluminum, and then was office manager for Job Real Estate Appraisal, the company she and Jim founded and operated for over 25 years. Sally was an outgoing and active member of her community. She hosted several foreign exchange students in her home and founded the AFS (American Field Service) chapter at Raymore-Peculiar High School. Sally served as President of the UMKC Booster Club and seldom missed a basketball game. She and Jim sponsor annual athletic scholarships to benefit UMKC students. She was an avid Chiefs and MU fan, and missed few football games. Sally and Jim enjoyed traveling. They spent many summer days water skiing with their kids at Table Rock Lake, and in later years, they traveled to Hawaii, Spain, Germany, Italy, England, Iceland, Canada, Mexico and others when Jim served as president of the American Society of Appraisers. Later in life Sally began to paint, and painting became her passion! She painted pictures, figurines, and other items and sold them at craft fairs. The family would like to thank Lori Sanders, the staff of Raymore Rehab Center and Good Shepherd Hospice for the loving care they provided Sally in her final days.
