Steven Bryan Bishop Sr. was born August 15, 1953 in Rantoul, Illinois. He was the oldest of four children and grew up in Paso Robles, California. Steve eventually found his job for life driving a truck all over the U.S. He then he became an owner/operator in 2009, which you could look at him and see how proud he was for finally making it. Steve knew no stranger and would strike up a conversation with just about anyone. When he was at home he enjoyed kicking back in his recliner and watch golf, NASCAR, and loved the Oklahoma Sooners.
Steve is survived by his wife Linda Y. Bishop, his sister Pamela (Thomas) Brennan; brother Clayton (Charlene) Bishop; daughters Cathy Jo (Kevin) Geotz; Julie (Mark) Stevens, Cory Sullivan, Felicia (Andy) Feneck-Weide; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in a death by both parents, brother Greg Bishop, two son’s Steven Bryan Bishop Jr. and Joshua Lee Bishop and daughter Stacie Lynn Bishop.
