Anthony J. "Tony" Tedeschi, 81, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, Florida. A native of New York, NY, he was born May 29, 1930 to Nicholas and Angelina Tedeschi and was a retired supervisor for NYC Department of Sanitation. He moved to Beverly Hills 25 years ago from Bayshore, L.I., NY. Mr. Tedeschi was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1951 to 1953, and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills. Tony is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carmela Mary Tedeschi of Beverly Hills; daughter Gale Toney; Mt. Dora, Florida; son Nicholas Tedeschi; Wantaugh, L.I., NY; brother Louis Tedeschi of Long Island, NY and sisters Mary and Phil, both of New York and Delia of Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Mon., Oct. 31, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. from Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills, with Fr. Frank Lubowa, Celebrant.
