Barbara Schneider, 79 of Inverness, FL, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at her home. Formerly of Allentown, PA. Born in Allentown, PA on Monday, March 21, 1932, she was the daughter of Franklin Eck and Eva (Schwartz) Eck. She was a graduate of William Allen High School in 1950. She was preceded in death by Franklin Eck (father), Eva (Schwartz) Eck (mother), Eddie Eck (brother) and Austin Jacob Grant Roth (grandson). Surviving in addition to her husband Jack Schneider of Inverness, FL; brother, John Eck of Reading, PA; daughters, Rosemarie Lick and husband, Warren Lick of Citrus Springs, FL and Frieda Roth and husband Grant Roth of Citrus Springs, FL; niece, Brenda; nephew, Gary; granddaughters, Heather, Samantha, Ashley and Sierra; grandson, Mark; three great grandchildren and many friends. She was an active bowler for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The All Children's Hospital of St. Petersburg, FL in memory of her grandson, Austin Roth and the American Cancer Society.
