Barbara Ann Wise, 75, of Dunnellon, passed away on Wed., Aug. 15, 2012 at her home. A native of New York, NY, she was born July 20, 1937 to Patrick and Virginia (Higgins) Armstrong and moved to Dunnellon 40 years ago from Perry, FL. Barbara was the former owner and operator of Apache Shores Food Market and also raised a family of seven children, who survive her. They are Tammy Elaine Curington and husband Allen; Virginia Ann Duckworth and husband Charles; Lydia Mae Connelly; Sharlene Strickland and husband Dave; Barbara Yvonne Smith and husband Bill; Tommy Earl Wise, Jr. and Terry Esker Wise. Barbara is also survived by sister Patsy Kirkland; grandchildren Donna, Mathew, Diane, Jason, Tiffany, Michael, Cindy, Tara, Bobby and Barbie and great grandchildren Britney, Zack, Lacey, Edie, Johnny, Indiana, Trevor, Ashley and Ayden. A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place at 4:00 P.M. on Sat., Aug. 18th at Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
