Cleofe O. Ballester, 77 of Citrus Springs, Florida died on July 5, 2013. He was born on October 20, 1935 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Juan Ballester Sanchez and Juana Ocasio (Jimenez) Sanchez. Cleofe came to the area in 2003 after residing in Connecticut from 1953 until 2003. He was a retired foreman in the landscaping business and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Iris Ballester of Citrus Springs, Florida; sons, Randolph Ballester of Cape Coral, Florida and Douglas Ballester of Milford, Connecticut; daughter, Yvonne Distante of New Haven, Connecticut; brother, Roberto of Juncos, Puerto Rico; sister, Herminia Ramos of Trumbull, Connecticut; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son George.
