Donald W. Stone, 77 of Inverness, Florida died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at his home. He was born on Sunday, March 18, 1934 in Adams, Massachusetts to Willard and Wanda (Pelczynski) Stone. Mr. Stone moved from Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1990 to Inverness, Florida He was a retired Drafting Supervisor having worked for the General Electric Company for 38 years, a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Inverness Elks Lodge. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957 and was stationed in Germany.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nancy Stone; daughters, Laurie Weedo and husband Keith of Ormond Beach, Florida and Theresa Vidoli and husband Michael of Pittsfield, Mass; his mother, Wanda Stone of Warner Robbins, Georgia; sister, Virginia Antaya of Austin, Texas; brothers, Gerald Stone of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Richard Stone of Lonendale, MO and John Stone of Jaffrey, New Hampshire; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four nieces and four nephews. Inurnment with Military Honors will take place at a later date at Fero Memorial Gardens.
