Donna Lee Murdter

Donna Lee Murdter, 75, of Crystal River, FL, passed away on Sat., March 15, 2025. A native of Tulsa, OK, Donna grew up in Newton, MA and Paterson, NJ, and was born Feb. 10, 1950 to Robert “Pete” and Faye (DeDoming) Pellegrini, one of three children. Donna was a former Pike County Volunteer EMT in Dingman’s Ferry, PA before moving to Crystal River 11 years ago, where she served as a home healthcare aide. Donna enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, watching her favorite TV show “Friends”, family game nights, Friendly’s ice cream sundaes, spending time with family and Donna also enjoyed gossiping! In her younger years, Donna loved to ride motorcycles, and will always be remembered for her sense of humor, which she held onto until the end. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband Charles Cosgrove, Sr., and a son, Michael Scully. She is survived by her children: Charles Cosgrove, Jr. (wife Kelly), Paupack, PA; Caren Malley (husband Robert), Homosassa, FL; Tracy Geier, Johnstown, PA; Kerri Scully, Inverness, FL and Cory Murdter, Flanders, NJ; grandchildren Katey Kemble (husband Christopher Lozada), Cedar Park TX; Ashley and Emily Malley, both of Austin, TX; Megan Malley, Kissimmee, FL; Belle and Teegan Geier, both of Johnstown, PA; Karianne Geier, Milford, PA; Christopher Hendershot, Paupack, PA; Kayleen Cosgrove, Essex, MD; Rylee Murdter, Crystal River, FL and Adrianna Murdter, Milford, PA; great grandchildren Jayden “JJ” and Avery, both of Cedar Park, TX and Thomas, Khloe and Kennedy, all of Milford, PA; siblings Robert Pellegrini (wife Britta), Hernando, FL and Vinnie Pellegrini (wife Terri), Riverdale, NJ. Donna is also survived by her beloved dog, Piper. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., April 12th at 12:00 P.M. at the home of her daughter Caren Malley, 2085 S. Bascombe Ave., Homosassa, FL 34448. Everyone is welcome to come and share memories of Donna, and the celebration will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend.
