Edna M. Hood, 89 of Beverly Hills, Florida died on Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on Tuesday, October 11, 1921 to Hershal and Myrtle (Collins) James. Edna was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, volunteered at the library in Beverly Hills, Florida and loved to travel.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, P.L. 'Cracker' Hood in 1981, by her son, Joseph Gallenstein and her grandson, Tony Gallenstein.
Survivors include her son, James 'Tim' Gallenstein and wife Judy of Golden, Colorado; granddaughter, Bobbi Gallenstein of Golden, Colorado; great granddaughter, Jessica Gallenstein of Brooksville, Florida, great great granddaughter, Laci and daughter-in-law, Janie Gallenstein of Dunnellon, Florida..
