Elaine M. Haynie, 90 of Lecanto, Florida and formerly from Citrus Springs, Florida died on Saturday, February 16, 2013. She was born on Wednesday, September 13, 1922 to Norman and Mildred (Lenzer) Wager in Chicago, Illinois. Elaine moved to this area from Illinois in 1982 and was of the Christian faith, enjoyed working on cross stich projects, knitting, cooking and traveling.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur 'Bud' Haynie in 2007.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Cook and husband Larry of Cooper City, Florida; son, Paul Haynie of Villa Park, Illinois; grandchildren, Kevin and Kimberly Cook of Cooper City, Florida and brother-in-laws, Merlin Haynie and wife Adele of Crystal River, Florida, Doran Haynie and wife Sencie of Frederick, Maryland and Willard Haynie and wife Lois of Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Memorial Service of Remembrance, Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
