Jean was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Brown. Jean moved to the area 33 years ago from Taylor, Michigan. She retired from the Credit Department of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.
Jean was a member of the Beverly Hills Fishing Club, Former Treasurer of the Citrus County Senior Sports Association and a member of the Beverly Hills Shuffleboard Club. Her family said she loved to volunteer.
Jean is survived by her loving husband Thomas B. Docherty of Beverly Hills, son Thomas G. Docherty of Michigan, daughter Jean Marie and her husband Ronald Watson of Beverly Hills, Fl., 6 grandchildren Timothy B. Docherty, Thomas Docherty, Michele Labo, Chelsea Martinez, Ronald Watson and Staci Watson, 5 great grandchildren Jeremiah, Roxi, Remy, Daegan and Madison.
