Jerry was a toolmaker for AC Spark Plug & Chevy Truck & Bus in Flint Michigan. He retired in 2006 and moved into the home he and wife Leanne had built in Pine Ridge. Jerry now could and did continue his love of golf. Having run golf leagues in Michigan it didn't take him long to start back doing so again. He was the president of Citrus Springs MGA and ran the Tuesday league. He played with the Ocala VFW guys and for a number of years enjoyed golfing with the FGA. Jerry died knowing what a great life he'd lived, doing what he loved with people that loved him.
