

She was born on May 9, 1921 to Dayton P. Clark and Martha M. (Steinharte) Clark in New York City, the second of their five children.
Judy grew up in Capetown, South Africa, and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Margaret Morrison Carnegie College in Pittsburgh. She met and fell in love with John D. Horth, a student at Carnegie Melon. They were married on December 20, 1942. Judy and John lived in Levittown, Mt. Bethel and in Raubsville, Pennsylvania. Following John’s death, Judy moved to Crystal River, near her daughter.
Judy was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a creative person, whether she was cooking, sewing, crafting or drawing. She had a thirst for knowledge, and took interest in everything and everyone around her. She and John traveled the world, including Peru, Europe, New Zealand, China. They also traveled throughout the US, Mexico and Canada in their RV.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Patricia Horth and son-in law, Curtis Mikkelsen of Lecanto; her son, Alexander Horth (Carolyn) of Maine, her grandchild, Kymberly Horth and partner François Rheault of Québec; her nephew, Rob Wright (Suzan); her step-grandchildren Dawn Mikkelsen Rappaport and Brian Mikkelsen and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband, John; son Thomas D. Horth; her niece, Nikki Judith Wright; her parents; and her siblings Dayton, Joseph, Patricia and Frederick.
Internment will be at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Mt. Holly, NJ at a later date.
