Marion, I used to sit outside when the bowling center was being built watching  its progress and just waiting for OPENING DAY!!!  Lars was such a great man and knew how to run a bowling center.  I'll always remember the No Tap tournaments, the ten game marathons and all the fun things that made Manatee Lanes what it was and still is today.  If I won money there, I would blow it immediately in the Pro Shop....never will forget getting a ration of @#$*! for buying the $125.00 Linds shoes....God, I loved those shoes! Mr. Langlo was a generous and kind man. He was very sweet to my son and daughter when we would go bowling in the summers. He always had a smile on his face and made you feel joy inside. There is now a great loss in our community.

I will love and miss my sweet dad for the rest of my life.  He was everything a girl needed her father to be, and the most devoted grandpa in the world.  He loved with his whole heart, and I thank God that he was ours.
