

Lee Ball, 84 of Beverly Hills, Florida was born on Friday, March 11, 1932 in Madison, West Virginia. He went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Lee attended Beverly Hills Community Church where he served as an usher, as well as worked the spaghetti supper for over 20 years. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1950 and served until 1954. Lee worked for the New York Central Railroad as a conductor until 1983, when he retired to Florida. He was a member of the following clubs and organizations; Beverly Hills Fishing Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10087, Shriners and he was a 50 Year Member 33rd Degree Mason. Lee loved helping others and would take the shirt off his back for them. He enjoyed the Detroit Lions football, but most of all he loved being with his wife and family.
Lee is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Ball of Beverly Hills; sister, Lucille Higginbothom; sons, Mike Ball of Beverly Hills and Scott Ball and wife Marti of Beverly Hills.
Lee was like a Redwood; gentle giant who lived large and his family his bark. He will live forever in our hearts.
Visitation, Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a Chapel Service on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Fero Funeral Home. Graveside Service with Military Honors to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
