Malcolm 'Mal' H. MacMillan, 81 of Hernando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was born on Monday, August 3, 1931 in Somerville, Massachusetts to Michael and Esther (Crozier) MacMillan. Mal was a retired printer and of the Christian faith. His passion was golfing and he was a member of Citrus Hills Golf and County Club.
Mal was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia MacMillan; daughter, Nadine Bannister and by his sister, Muriel Metcalf.
Survivors include his son, Michael MacMillan and wife Robin of Wilmington, Massachusetts; daughter, Karen Tanguay and husband John of Billerica, Massachusetts; sister, Helen Hicks of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Colin MacMillan of New Hampshire, Patrick and Nicole Tanguay, both of Billerica, Massachusetts and James and Seth Bannister, both of Arizona and companion, Sylvia Stimpfle of Hernando, Florida.
Visitation, Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a Chapel Service on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Fero Funeral Home. Entombment follows at Fero Memorial Gardens.
