Marion Estelle Marks

Marion Estelle Marks, 92 of Beverly Hills, FL and formerly of Manchester, CT passed away Friday. March 10th, 2017 in Lecanto, FL. She was born on June 23rd, 1924 in Manchester, CT to Harriet Green and Clinton Morgan. She was employed as an executive secretary for Metronics Corporation in Bolton, CT, Manchester Savings and Loan and Manchester Drugs in Manchester, CT. Marion was a dynamic and strong woman, whom always placed others before herself. She had a love of dogs, gardening and music. She was a devoted wife and mother. Marion was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth in 2011. She is also predeceased by her sister, Donna Overton. She leaves behind two children, Gary Marks and his wife Bettina of Beverly Hills, FL and Sharon Cleary and her husband Eugene of Keene, NH. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Andrea Marks (Husband Tucker Southard) and Christopher Cleary (Girlfriend Susan Fiedler) of Keene, NH. She is survived by a sister Beverly (Charles) Fead of Fort Gratiot, MI and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, FL on Friday, March 24th at 5 p.m. with a reception to follow. The family asks that donations be made to the local Alzheimer’s Foundation and Fast Friends Greyhound Rescue, 14 W. Swanzey Rd., Swanzey, NH. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of Diamond Ridge Health and Rehab Center.
