Mary Jane Eggleston

Mary Jane Eggleston (nee Baca), 91, entered the Kingdom of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at home as she always wanted. Born in Socorro, NM on April 21, 1932, to Josie Baca and Holm Bursum, she was raised in Albuquerque amidst a large loving family. In 1951 she met the love of her life, David, whom she married in 1953 and moved to Florida settling in Live Oak where they raised their family. There she owned and operated an in-home daycare where her kids lovingly nicknamed her "Jane Jane". In 1972, her family relocated to Crystal River where she was a dedicated member of St.

Benedict's Catholic Church for 51 years.

Mary Jane is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, David B.

Eggleston, and their four daughters, Jereen Hall (John Burton), DeAnna Just (Paul), Chellise Gibson (Scott), and Sharna Paradowski (Douglas); seven grandchildren, Ashley Rainwater (JR), Johnna Hall, Joshua Hall (Tara), Garrett Gibson (Ashley), Nicholas Paradowski, Gage Gibson (Kaylee), Jordan Paradowski; five great-grandchildren, Aniah Rainwater, Aliviah Rainwater, Sadie Hall, Reese Hall, and Zane Gibson; brother, LeRoy Vaughn, and many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed and forever loved by her family until we meet again.

Family to receive visitors at Fero Life Celebration Lodge on Monday August 28 from 5 - 7 p.m.; funeral mass at St. Benedict's Catholic Church on Tuesday August 29 at 10 a.m. with celebration of life luncheon to follow at 12 noon at Fero Funeral Home Life Celebration Lodge.
