Robert E. Irwin, 86 of Lecanto, Florida died on Thursday, August 12, 2010. He was born on Saturday, February 23, 1924 in Chester, Pennsylvania to Elmer and Anna (Derrick) Irwin. Mr. Irwin was a retired customer field service representative in the utility industry.
Mr. Irwin was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed boating, cars, his pets and family.
Muriel F. Irwin, his wife preceded him in death in February of 2008.
Survivors include his son, Robert W. Irwin and his wife Maria of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and grandsons, Peter and Andrew Irwin both of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
Visitation, Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465. Mr. Irwin's chapel service will directly follow the visitation and will be officiated by Reverend Stewart Jamison, III. Burial will take place at Fero Memorial Gardens.
