Kardos, Sara 88, of Citrus Springs entered into rest on November 5, 2016. Sara was born in Romania June 15, 1928 the daughter of Lajos and Susana Kavacs. Sara was raised by Lajos and Anna Kavacs. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Laszlo Kardos Sr. in 2005.
Sara is survived by one son Laszlo Kardos Jr. and his companion Vilma Avellan of Beverly Hills, one daughter Adriana Takacs of Citrus Springs, granddaughter Andrea and her husband Mark Hurley of Maryland, 2 great grandchildren Andrew and Madelyn Hurley of Maryland.
Sara immigrated to the United States in 1970, and along with her husband and children became a citizen on July 2, 1976. She and her family moved to the area in 1989 from New York. Sara loved to bake and cook Hungarian food. She enjoyed watching the Olympic figure skating competition and the Hallmark channel.
Sara will be greatly missed by her family and those that knew her.
