Shirley McDonald, 82 of Lecanto, Florida died on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. She was born in Yonkers, New York on April 3, 1928 to Raymond and Dorothy (Wiles) Laurencell. She was a retired assistant purchasing agent for a pharmaceutical company. Shirley moved to this area in 1985 from Hartsdale, New York.
She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed watching television, reading and playing scrabble.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William McDonald and her brother, Edward Laurencell.
Survivors include her son William McDonald of Maine and stepson, Gage Bouchard of Maine; daughter, Kelly Palmer of Florida; sister, Carol Voges and husband John of Crystal River, Florida; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ceara, William, Caleb and Noel; one nephew and two nieces.

A Memorial Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Fero Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5891 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465.
