Todd A Caruso of Ellenville, NY passed away on Wednesday the 31st day of January 2024 at his home in Citrus Springs, FL. Todd was preceded in death by his loving parents, James and Elizabeth “Betty” Caruso and his adoring wife, Julie Caruso. He is survived by his 4 children Jammie Rhodes, Brad Caruso, Tiara Caruso and Troy Caruso, his 2 stepsons Michael Bell and Christopher Carmen and his daughter and son’s-in law, Briana Caruso, Bryan Delcher and Arthur Parnell.
Todd was a beloved grandfather to his 7 grandchildren Justin, Adrianna, Madison, Aurora, Lily, Blake and Aliyah as well as his “grand-dog” Murphy. He leaves behind 5 siblings Steven “Stevie”, Randy, Wendy, Melody and Derrell along with many nieces, nephews and countless friends and loved ones.
Todd enjoyed the great outdoors his entire life and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was never more at peace than in his tree-stand or out in his boat with his line in the water and his children by his side. He spent the best part of his life racing R/C cars with his sons. His children will forever cherish the memories of him taking them camping, hiking and trail riding in the picturesque mountains of upstate NY. He loved to play a round of golf and everything about sports. You could find him, on any given Sunday, cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite pastime, though, was spending his time surrounded by the people he loved and who will love him always.
Todd never met a stranger and made impressions and connections everywhere he went. He was always ready with a smile and a joke. His laughter was infectious, and he loved fiercely. The absence left in so many lives by his passing is immeasurable.
