William H. Breidenbach, Sr., 85 of Citrus Springs, Florida passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 in the loving care of his family and HPH Hospice. He was born in Brookyln, New York on Tuesday, November 3, 1925 to Henry and Catherine (Davis) Breidenbach. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. Mr. Breidenbach was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Catholic Church, enjoyed working outside his home and on cars, watching television, liked political debating, loved his dog 'Sparky' and cherished his family.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joan E. Breidenbach of Citrus Springs, Florida; son, William H. Breidenbach and wife Dawn of Pennsylvania; daughters, Catherine Devlin of Clearwater, Florida and Cheryl DeVere and husband John of Long Island, New York; grandchildren, Dayna Santore and husband Joseph of Dunedin, Florida, John Devlin, IV of Clearwater, Florida, Christopher DeVere of Long Island, New York, Jennifer DeVere of Long Island, New York and Amanda Breidenbach of Pennsylvania and great grandson, Gavyn Santore of Dunedin, Florida.
Visitation, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon at Fero Funeral Home with interment and Military Honors to follow at 1:30 P.M. at the Florida National Cemetery.
