Alice C. Orman, 95 passed on January 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Lee Orman, Jr. and son Charles Lee Orman. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Orman Meadows; granddaughters Lindsey Ruth Meadows and Laura Patton Meadows; grandson John Orman Meadows; sister Bernice Jones and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a pillar of her family, supporting her husband John in his career at AmSouth bank and his music ministry at Hunter Street Baptist Church. She provided a loving home for her children and instilled Christian values in them. She ministered to everyone that she knew and came in contact with. She had a deep love for flowering and gardening and was a founding member of The Twilight Garden Club. Alice will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover, Alabama with a Celebration of Life ceremony following at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries 2681 Rocky Ridge Ln, Birmingham, AL 35216, (205) 982-1112.
