Barbara “Bobbie” Anne Dowling passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the age of 66. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Bobbie was a music lover and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Beatles. She never met a stranger and could make conservation with anyone, leaving them thinking both had been friends for years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 45 years, Robbie Dowling; her sons, Ray Dowling and his wife, April and Randy Dowling and his wife, Grace; a brother, Tommy Gosdin; her grandchildren whom she absolutely adored, Ryan Dowling, Colton Dowling, and Carsyn Dowling. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Gosdin; grandmother, Ilene Priddy; and a brother, Mike Gosdin.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Ridout’s Tussville Chapel with visitation beginning at 1pm followed by a chapel service at 2pm. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
