She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Willard Ross Brunson; son, William Ross Brunson and brother, Charlie Harris. She is survived by her brother, Robert Harris (Joanne); daughter, Deborah B. Powers (William); 5 grandchildren, Will Brunson (Meg), Emily Haslett, Bradley Haslett, Sarah Haslett and Jane Haslett and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Betty will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. A graveside service & burial will occur Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.

Due to the concerns surrounding Covid-19, and in compliance with city & county ordinances gatherings of 10 or more are prohibited and social distance is required.
