Lane, Betty Forester Heaton, 80 of Huffman went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 10, 2011. She was born December 29, 1930. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul M. Lane; brother, James E. Forester; sister, Maxine Vann; and her parents, Max T. Forester and Eunice Dickerson Forester. Betty was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church. She was retired from Bowman Transportation Company. Betty is survived by daughters; Anita Heaton Gay (David), Judy Heaton Tortorice (Joe); step-daughters; Susan Lane Dulabahn (Tim), Terri Lane Little (Stephen); grandchildren; Bonie Gay Colley, Jason Gay, Daniel Tortorice, Matthew Tortorice, Colin Dulabahan, John Neil Dulabahn, Virginia Lane Little, and Stephen Little, Jr., great-grandsons; Houston Colley and Owen Colley. The family will receive friends at Huffman United Methodist Church, 711 Gene Reed Road, Birmingham, AL 35235, from 12:30 to the service time of 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011.
