Billie Elaine Buchanan, age 99 of Birmingham, Alabama passed away at home Friday, October 30, 2020. She was a member of East Lake United Methodist Church for 60 years. She was married 69 years to the late William Aubrey Buchanan. Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her two sons, Warren "Buck" Buchanan (Elaine) and Dr. Michael Buchanan (Connie). She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Billie had a passion for cooking and loved being with her family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens beginning at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Lake United Methodist Church, 7753 First Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35206. Rev Sally Allocca will officiate graveside services.
