Pullen, Billy Wayne, Sr., age 68 of Guntersville, AL formerly of Birmingham, AL went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2012. Bill was in the first graduating class of Banks High School. He retired from Wyeth Laboratories and then went on to own Midas Muffler and Brake Shops in Rome, GA , Sandy Springs, GA and Decatur, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Doris Pullen. Bill is survived by his wife, Cecilia Burgess Pullen; son, Billy Wayne Pullen, Jr.; step-daughters, Gabette (Bevard) Young and Gabrielle (Brad) Lamb; 6 grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Bill) Zancocchio. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
