She was a graduate of Haleyville High School but lived most of her life in Birmingham and was a longtime member of Huffman Freewill Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher from Avondale Day Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, M. J. “Pops” Jennings and their daughter, Debra L. Jennings; her sisters: Ramona Fulmer and Lana McCreless.
Bobbie who was affectionately known by her grandchildren as “GaGa”, is survived by her daughters: Melissa J. (Jeff) Estes, Patricia J. (Kevin) Northcutt and Lori J. (Scott) Ward; her grandchildren: Kyle Isbell, Kevin and Marcum Northcutt and Morgan and Michael Ward; sisters: Clara Southern and Lavon Hayes and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at 11: 00 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2025, at Johns Ridout’s Mortuary Elmwood Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
