BRANDY MICHELLE ARELLANO, age 42 of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Young. She is survived by her mother, Beverly Young Nelson (John); biological father, James Edgar Hoskins; adoptive father, Ervin Lee Harris III; brothers, Josh Harris and Spencer Harris; grandfather, Lowell Young; uncle, Steve Young; aunt, Tammy Young; special cousin, Austin; and special friends, Melanie Arellano, Olga Ramirez, Samantha Vining (Deana) and Juli Williams. Brandy loved animals including her fur babies, Blanca, Izzi, Spiffy, Lola and Tink Tink and Josh’s fur babies Chewy, Scooter and Noah. She grew up in Gadsden and graduated from Gadsden High School. After school she moved to Birmingham and has worked for McKesson Pharmaceutical for the last 15 years. She loved listening to music, dancing, reading and cooking. Her family will celebrate her life on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her memorial service beginning at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
