O’NEAL, BUDDY CHARLES, age 79 of Springville passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cheryl O’Neal; sons, Daniel O’Neal (Christy) and Eric O’Neal (Mary Heather); daughters, Julie Stearns (Allen) and Melissa Farley (Keith); brother, Mike O’Neal; sister, Mitzi Millsaps (Harry); and grandchildren, Wesley Stearns (Natalie), Tyler O’Neal, Lindsey O’Neal, Hannah Stearns, Jackson Farley, Langdon Farley, Lucas O’Neal and Gavin O’Neal. Buddy was very proud of his service in the U.S. Navy where he served on the air craft carrier USS Saratoga. He retired from Kenworth of Birmingham after spending a career in the trucking industry. Buddy loved spending time at the beach, playing with his grandchildren and Auburn football. His family will have a memorial service at a later time.
