Carolyn Elaine Foster, age 77, of Pinson went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Lindy Lee Foster; her parents J B and Susie Mae Starnes; and her sister Hazel Crutchfield.
Carolyn is survived by her children Tammy Taylor (David), Russell Foster (Sandy), and Christie Foster; grandchildren Derrick Taylor (Robin), Andrew Taylor (Lauren), Zachary Foster (Courtney), and Jacob Foster; great-grandchildren Ashton Foster, Joshua Taylor, Camden Foster, and Lainey Taylor; siblings Imojean Copeland, Wynell Owens, Jo Credille, Jerry Starnes, and Deb Wilson; close friend Monroe Wiggins; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving friends and family.
Carolyn lived life to the fullest and truly loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends but she loved her Lord above all.
Visitation will be at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel Friday, December 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Mrs. Foster will lie in state at Masseyline Church of God in Pinson, Alabama on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm.
