Catherine Anderson of Pleasant Grove, AL went into the arms of Jesus, July 3rd 2015. She is preceded in death by Charles and Elaine Harrison and nephew, Trent Hill. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (Jeff) Gray of Pleasant Grove. Grandchildren, Tyler Bowman of Pleasant Grove, Ashley Barnes of Pleasant Grove, Daniel (Chantell) Gray of Meridian, MS. Great-granddaughters, Gracie Barnes of Pleasant Grove and Baylee Gray of McCalla. Sister Mary (Wayne) Cawthon of Letohatchee, AL; nephews, Tommy (Summer) Hill, Todd (Tammy) Hill and niece, Teresa Matthews of Montgomery, AL. Great nieces, Paige Hill, Ella Grace Hill and Arianna Hill and great nephew, Joey (Marissa) Holley and great-great niece Peri Lane Holley all of Montgomery, AL. Catherine enjoyed serving the Lord, helping with the homeless and working in the missions. She had always wanted to go on a mission trip and her prayers were answered in 2009 when she was able to go with Bethel Baptist Church to Nicguarga. Her greatest joy was serving the Lord and her family. Tommy Hill, Todd Hill, Joey Holley, Doug Lavender, Jackson Harp, Fred Yager will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Elmwood Chapel on Thursday, July 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Elmwood Chapel, July 10 at 2:00 with Brother Jerry Sherrell of Cottage Hill Baptist Church officiating.
