BEARD, CATHERINE S., age 84 of Northport, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester W. Beard; daughter, Cynthia Ethridge; son-in-law, Rusty Ethridge; granddaughter, Jackie Lynn Steward; and son-in-law, Randy Rhea. She is survived by her son, Donnie Beard (Joyce); daughter, Elaine Kannon (Winston); sister, Jean S. Cooper; grandchildren, Tammie Sanders (James), Stephanie Connell (Robby), Russell Beard (Alana); step-granddaughter, Lizzie Kannon; and 7 great-grandchildren. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM with Bros. Nick Hensley, Samuel Tharp and Charles Connell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
