CHARLIE MAE “NANNY” CASH, age 90 of Birmingham, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Cash. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Cash (Deb); daughters, Becky Chance, Charlotte Folker (Michael) and Kay Smith (Fred); sisters, Peggy Williams and Martha Nichols; sister-in-law, Marie Simrell; grandchildren, Jennifer Granberry, Jason Cash (Laura), Brad Chance, Matthew Folker (Chrystal), Joseph Folker, Amanda Wolfe (Jeremy), Shane Cleckler and Brandy Robertson (Kenny); 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren. Nanny was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was known as Nanny to many others. She was a longtime member of Pelham Church of God of Prophecy. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 10-11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11:00. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
