

Christi Neel Glass of Birmingham passed away suddenly on Saturday April 1, 2017 at the age of 49. Christi was raised in Jackson Mississippi and attended the University of Alabama where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She was a graduate of Culinard culinary school in Birmingham. She was presently employed as a legal assistant in her husband’s law firm, the Law office of C. Brandon Glass. Christi had a rare talent for cooking and entertaining. She was an exercise enthusiast and loved travelling and the beach. She never met a dog she didn’t fall in love with. She loved the sun on her face and will be remembered for her loving spirit, giving heart and the genuine love she had for those lucky enough to have known her. At a very young age, Christi came to Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade. She was a faithful member of the Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her father Tommy Edward Neel. Christi is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Christopher Brandon Glass and her beloved miniature schnauzer Roxy. She is also survived by her mother Cecie Carter and step father Robin Carter, sister Melissa Neel and brothers Hall Smith and Jay Smith. She is also survived by a very close family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. A Private grave side service for family will be at Elmwood cemetery. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Thursday April 6, 2017 at 2pm at the Independent Presbyterian Church, 3100 Highland Ave S. Birmingham, Al 35205. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Jimmie Hale Mission in Birmingham, or the Hand in Paw animal organization in the name of Christi Glass.
