Christina Lynn Greene was born on September 5, 1973, and passed away on December 13, 2025. She is survived by her parents Paul Greene and Terri Murdoch; her aunts and uncles; Sheryl and Shawn Walker, Rhonda Halvorson, Lindsay and John Lucas, Kim and Mike Murdoch, Kala Murdoch; her grandmother Shirley Taylor Murdoch Patton; cousins and dear, close friends; and her pet cat, Damien (“Little Bean”). She was preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Veronica Greene, Douglas Murdoch; her uncles Randy Greene and Matthew Murdoch; and her cousin Evan Lucas.
Her complex life journey lead Christine through Florida, Texas, Georgia, West Virginia, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Open and accepting of everyone, she made friends wherever she went. Anyone who knew Christine understood that she would not tolerate prejudice of any kind. Faced with challenges of her own, she was always ready to help anyone she saw as less fortunate than herself. Throughout her life she balanced fierce independence with strong dedication to family and friends. She nurtured these relationships and valued them above all else.
Christine was a life-long learner with practical and esoteric knowledge in political science, religion, theater, cinema, literature, and vintage merchandise. She expanded her formal education through documentaries, podcasts, and the maze of “rabbit holes” she followed on the internet. Christine loved to laugh, was enchanted by horror films, and enjoyed an amazing range of music. She firmly believed that cats should be allowed to sit wherever they want.
