Christina “Christy” Jacqueline Hand Moore went home to be with Jesus on December 7, 2020. She was born on May 10, 1975 in Mary Ester, Florida to Berkley Kenneth Hand and Thi Tinh Pham Hand. Christy is preceded in death by her mom, Thi Tinh Pham Hand; sister, Tina Marie Hand; paternal grandfather, Bunker Berkley Hand; and maternal grandfather, Tam Viet Pham. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Duddley Moore; children, Lashon Christine Moore, Mark Duddley Moore, II, Shelby Nicole Moore, Angel Olivia Moore, and Savannah Paige Moore; brother, Kenneth Ray Hand; sister, Mariana Hand; dad, Berkley Kenneth Hand and step-mom Mariam Hand; and grandmothers, Jackie Hand and Nac Thi Tran.
She married her husband, Mark on May 10, 1997 in Orange Park, Florida at St. Catherine’s Church. Christy went to high school in Buras, Louisiana. She graduated from Jones College in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration. Christy loved Paparazzi Accessories and became a consultant and eventually a director with them. She loved skating and the Mercedes Marathon. Christy was honored to be named as a member of Who’s Who.
A Celebration of Christy’s life and funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic University Chapel, 1515 12th Ave South, Birmingham, AL 35205 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
