Christy Waldrop, a beloved wife and mother, passed on the morning of March 23, 2026. She wanted her memory to be one that brought joy and comfort to those she loved. So, today we choose to celebrate her life. We celebrate every family trip, every day on the couch, every laugh, and every shared bag of gummy bears. Christy was a fun, adventurous person. She loved Disney, flowers, art, animals, anything colorful, and most of all, her family. We will remember her not only for the amazing person she was, but for the amazing person she is now watching over all of us.
Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 12-1 with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
