Craig Daniel Temple was born March 5, 1969. He passed from this life on July 14, 2021. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in the Hoover area. He attended W. A. Berry High School. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1987 and served 4 years before continuing his service in the Naval Reserves. He received training to be an Aircraft Mechanic while in the Navy. He completed his education at The Alabama Aviation Technical College in Ozark, Alabama where he graduated with honors. In 1995, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy.

Craig worked for several airfields across the country. After 9/11, he lost his job as an Aircraft Mechanic. Craig found his way to the Jimmie Hale Mission, where he began to gather the pieces of his life and to put the puzzle back together. Craig worked for The Jimmie Hale Mission for 16 years and more recently was the Maintenance Supervisor. Craig is survived by his mother, Linda Brasher Temple, sister and brother-in-law, Scott and Laura Hadden, two nieces Kaydee Hadden and Rebekah Hadden and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie F. Brasher and Lucile Brasher, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
