Deborah Anne Preston, age 68, of Trussville, AL went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2024. She was born in Mobile, AL to Waylon and Shirley Blair on December 4, 1955. Her family moved to the Birmingham area just before she started high school. Shortly after graduating high school she started employment at Vulcan Materials at the age of 20. She retired in 2023 after 47 years of dedicated service.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Frank Rogers Preston, II. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Richard Neal Preston; her children, Ricky Preston (Brittany) and Alecia Solomon (David); three grandchildren, Ryker Preston, Reid Preston and Sara Solomon; her sister, Gina Blair; a niece, Ariel Minshew and a nephew, Mason Whitmarsh; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Hanson and Susan Preston.
A funeral for Debbie will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00 am with a visitation beginning at 10am. A committal service will immediately follow the chapel service at Forest Crest Cemetery.
