GLENN, DONNA MAE HIPSHER. age 71 of Trussville, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Beth Glenn; parents, Mary Elizabeth and Donald Hipsher; and brother, Kim M. Hipsher. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy G. Conner (William); brother, Max S. Hipsher (Jane); grandchildren, Erin Michele Conner and Amy Elizabeth Conner; and 5 nieces and nephews. Donna grew up in Biloxi, MS. She had a passion for mission and enjoyed creating worship centers to bring people closer to God. Donna was a member of Irondale United Methodist Church, the Mary Graves Circle of Hoover First United Methodist, and the Bridge Builders District Circle of North Alabama Conference. She served as an officer for the United Methodist Women on the local, district and conference levels for many years. Donna saw her career with the Small Business Administration rise from a secretary to high ranking management. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Irondale United Methodist Church beginning at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Women.
