Dorothy Holden Chapman, born in Greensboro, NC, residing in Shelby County, AL, died at the age of 94 on March 24, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Chapman from Liberty, SC, and her grandson, Michael Brian Chapman of Pelham, AL. She is survived by four children, Don Chapman of Hoover, AL, Jim (Debbie) Chapman of Pelham, AL, Sue (Jim) Dennis of Alabaster, AL, and Shirley (Ron) Caylor of Thorsby, AL. She has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She loved painting, cooking, being with family and friends, and is spending this Easter with her Lord and Savior. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Johns-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, with visitation at 10:00 AM. >
