Ernestine Kelley Watts Allen was born on December 30, 1927 in Graysville, Alabama. Mrs. Allen passed away quietly at home on July 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruby and Ernest Kelley; her husband of 49 years, John William Watts; her husband John “Jack” Allen (2006-2007); and her brother Harvey Kelley (Jean). She is survived by her son, Larry Watts (Pam) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; her daughter, Terri Smith (Mike) of Fultondale, Alabama; her brother, James “Jimmy” Kelley (Dot) of Hoover, Alabama; six grandsons; seven granddaughters; three great grandsons; five great granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Graysville, Alabama; and was retired from Sears, Roebuck and Company and St. Martins-in-the-Pines. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Elmwood Chapel with funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
