HARDIN, EUGENE PAUL SR., age 74, of Pinson, passed away peacefully in his home Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Gene grew up in Tarrant, the son of Claude and Agnes Hardin. Gene loved his family, was a hard worker and enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pat Hardin; sons, Paul (Donna) and James (Barbette) Hardin; four grandsons, Mathew (Kim) Harper, Christopher, Casey and Shane Hardin; one step grandson, Brian Duren; two great grandsons, Jackson and Jordan Harper; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Hardin. His family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 5-7 PM. His service will be at the chapel on Friday, June 1, 2012 beginning at 2 PM burial will follow at Marvin’s Chapel Cemetery.
