Frances Few

Born in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Edna Hudson Collins. She graduated from Hendersonville High School and studied music at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC.

She was a Christian, prayer warrior, poet, and served the Lord as an organist, pianist, and vocalist at many church services and weddings.

Surviving are her son, Dr. Gary Few (Jeannie) of Birmingham, AL; her sister, Ann C. Tankersley of Travelers Rest, SC; grandchildren: Melissa F. Barnett of Aiken, SC (with son JB), Meredith Few of Aiken, SC, Alex Few (Kayla) of Huntsville, AL (with children Samuel and Evelyn), Natalie F. Webb (Evan) of Huntsville, AL and Collins Few of Charlotte, NC.; and many beloved nieces and nephews that she considered her own children.

She was predeceased by two sons Michael Few and Randy Few; and brothers: Charles Collins, Bob Collins, and Cliff Collins.

A memorial service for Mrs. Few will be celebrated at home of Ann Tankersley in Travelers Rest, SC at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024. The internment will follow in the Gap Creek Baptist Church cemetery in Marietta, SC for those who wish to attend.
