GILMORE, JR., FRANK CLARK age 82 of Birmingham, AL passed away August 22, 2011. He was born June 28, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents, F.C. and Myrtice Gilmore; and his wife, Lou Gilmore. He graduated from Ramsay High School in 1949. He retired from O'Neal Steel in 1987. In 1968 he and his wife Lou opened Gilmore Orchids. He is survived by his sons, F. Clark Gilmore III, Mickey Gilmore (Leslie); daughter, Nancy G. Stevenson; eight grandchildren, Tina Anderson (Mark), Becky Peterson (Matt), Cindy Robbins (Benton), Frankie Gilmore, Mary Lou Gilmore, Mickey Rae Gilmore, Daniel and John Stevenson; six great grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Caroline and Kate Peterson, Avery and Sam Robbins, August Blankenship; and niece, Carol Sicard Davis. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at Elmwood Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2011. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
